ABOUT
My name is Julie Tomczak and I am currently a 5th grade Science and Language Arts teacher in Okemos, Michigan. I started out my teaching career, as a 7th grade Science teacher for three years in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I love learning with students and I am always up for a challenge. My master's degree is in Educational Technology at Michigan State University, and I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in Educational Technology at the University of Florida. In my spare time, I love to exercise, spend time outdoors, and travel. During my time at MSU, I went on a study abroad trip to South Africa in a program for Conservation of Biodiversity. I hope to travel more in the future!
